Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) is a global network that supports cities and local communities in their digital transformation journey. By working closely with cities, technology providers, and experts, OASC helps create interoperable digital ecosystems that enable cities to seamlessly exchange and re-use data-driven solutions. This reduces costs, avoids vendor lock-in, and fosters innovation across communities.
At the core of OASC’s work are the Minimal Interoperability Mechanisms (MIMs) — a set of open standards that ensure cities can connect their data and digital services efficiently, regardless of the technology they use.
In the x-CITE project, OASC leads the communication and dissemination strategy.
