Transport & Mobility Leuven NV (TML) conducts applied research that supports policy decisions and advances society through scientifically sound analyses. We employ quantitative methods—modelling, statistical analyses, simulations, and prognoses—to study traffic, passenger, and freight transport, along with their economic and environmental impacts. The integration between these domains gives us a unique position within Europe.
Our focus is both scientific and practical: we are the bridge between academia and society. Our clients are the European Commission, national, regional and local governments, sector associations, and non-profits. They base their policy on our analyses and prognoses.
In the x-CITE project, TML mainly supports the Flanders SEA (Strategic Environmental Reporting) use case by leveraging our web-based traffic model Traffic Scout.
