This week, we submitted a joint proposal for a session at Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 in Barcelona – and we’re proud to do it together.
The four EU-funded projects – x-CITE, SENSE, European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness and 3DxVERSE – represent a united ecosystem working to make cities smarter, greener, and more democratic through digital twins, universal design, AI, XR, and co-creation.
What’s next?
Our proposed session in Barcelona will explore how immersive digital tools can support real transformation on the ground – from Gothenburg to Rotterdam, from Tampere to Kiel and many more cities across the EU. We’ll share pilot stories, design principles, and a roadmap toward an interoperable, citizen-first CitiVerse for Europe.
